By Surprise
When you're minding your own business and trying to lay low, Life has a way of speeding in and crashing right into you.
Literally.
For me, Life took the form of a red Mustang Cobra and a little blue Nissan. While sitting quietly in a parkinglot waiting to turn, Life's idea of an introduction consisted of smashing into the driver's side of my car and shoving it backwards 8 feet.
I'm thinking I probably would have preferred a nice handshake and 'how do you do' instead.
Fortunately I have nothing more than a few aches and pains to remember my meeting by. Ask me again in the morning and we'll see if anything new arises.

UGH...That SUCKS. You're okay though...for now. Usually if you get hurt, it shows up in the morning....take care of yourself.
OMG! No way! I hope you're ok. How does that even happen?!
I was in the drive way of a store, waiting for traffic to pass so I could turn right. Well, there was a woman stopped in front of me waiting to turn left into place I was. She however, misjudged the oncoming traffic and pulled out in front of someone. So they T-boned her,pushing her into me. So I had the impact of 2 cars hit me at the same time and it knocked me backwards. No one was hurt badly thank goodness but I had to crawl out of my passenger door b/c her car was pinning my driver's door. My back, neck and arm are already aching and sore...I can just imagine how I"ll feel tomorrow. My poor car is screwed for the moment. The axle is broken, the wheel well and my door are all caved in. :o(

aw, that's terrible luck! I hope the aches and pains don't last long and your car gets fixed quick!

I want to hear more ring and elevator adventures... not to mention the whole see-through curtains/putting a show on for the neighbourhood story!
