Sheer Craziness

I am afraid that I find myself at a complete loss.

I have no answers and frankly, I'm startled by the questions...

Recently I had a...let's just say...awkward dream involving one of my male friends. It involved a little shankadank-e-doo which, in itself was shocking enough, considering that I've never found him the least bit attractive. And while in this little dream state he was surprisingly talented, (here comes the REALLY shocking part) I fell terribly short in the talent department.

*Gasp*

I know. I know. I'm as shocked as you are.

Obviously this distorted illusion couldn't be further from the truth...I know my business.

*Wink, wink*

I mean, yeah...it's been awhile but it's like riding a bike...you never forget.

In England, they use a bike expression as well ... but they say that some girls are like bikes ... because everyone's had a ride ... LOL

anyway, hope you get to climb in a bike and take a nice, bumpy ride soon ;)

Maybe you ought to let him hold on while you start to pedal. That way he is really near you, and you can get away...

I can't even get it in my dreams. You're lucky. Dream sex. I'm so stressed lately that I can't even daydream sex.

I've been working too many hours for even dream sex. If my boy looks at me cross eyed, I'm immediately complaining of a headache. Sad ... I would even take a bad dream sex experience at this point.

Yes lord, girl. I know my business, too (and from recent experience - please tell your readers not to throw things at me - know this to be true)...so a dream like that would be incredibly disconcerting to me as well.

I recently had a dream that I was rich.

Moral - Don't give dreams too much credence.

dzer's right...you can often find the village bike over here...not always relating to a woman either

anyway, chill...it was only a dream, often in dreams i'm dwarfed by the things around me...and seeing as i'm 6'3" that's not an easy thing to do

Linny,

It's Ok if you dream about me, but I'm shocked that you said you've never found me the least bit attractive. C'mon, who are you trying to fool here?

So has the dream changed your mind about the male friend?
Perhaps see if he lives up to the dream . . .

Hmmm....maybe in real life it isn't a physical attraction but a mental attraction and in your dream it manifested into physical because...your horomones are running rampant?! Girl, go get laid and report back to us in the morning.

Oh that was a funny post :)

I've had two very vivid dreams these past few days that felt quite real. One of them involved a guy i had dated....i'm in the same boat as you Linny, it's been a while and the dream made my real life feel kind of lonely.

It better be like riding a bike or I'm screwed (pun NOT intended).

It really is too bad people can't get practice sex, just to keep the skills up to date during dry spells.

Dreams can reinforce things or try to shake your confidence or just be completely random and useless.

I might chalk it up to the latter category.

Hm...are you planning on telling "said friend" about this dream???

I had a fucked up dream the other night too..it was storming really bad here, and I guess I could hear the thunder in my sleep, so I dramt that it was the end of the world, and we could see the planets disappearing, I was saying good bye to a couple of my friends, and we were all very upset. It was very wierd

You must have been in bizarro dream world. So I guess that means in reality he isn't as talented...

Don't you hate dreams like that though? I always feel a little awkward whenever I see the person/dream subject after the fact...
