Prison Break

My 200th post. Amazing.

Have I really had that much to say?

"Maybe too much," some grumble.

*Sigh* Ironic, considering that I've inexplicably found myself at a loss for words.

I thought and thought all day. I saw ideas laying in the floor and I kicked them around a little...watched them scatter and spin. Waited to see which ones would land face up for good luck...but instead they rolled under the couch...out the door...behind the fridge...all out of reach.

Figures.

Sometimes I think, if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.

Where is a knight in shining armour when you need him? Or maybe I should say a well stocked Handyman with a big can of WD-40.

I need something to wrench open this rusty door in my head and free the inspiration held captive within.

Anyone know a good mechanic?

Phil has too much time on his hands...You know, in a confessional email, he told me that he refreshes your blog every 45 minutes just so he can be the first commenter. Dont you find it odd how often that happens?? That he's the first commenter?? Its not just coincidence you know.

But I agree with him...this was a great post about nothing.

Yep, I must agree that this was a great post about nothing. It's amazing how interesting the posts are in which you feel you have nothing to say. :)

I didn't beat Phil, but I'm pretty close to the top! Usually, I'm way down the line! :)

I would say goo back and read your favorite book of all time (if you can decide) then see what happens. I am always the most inspired when I read!

When all else fails...movie quotes.

Lame? Perhaps.

Cheap? Definitely.

Effective? Absolutely.

I passed 200 myself a little while ago. Plus I can fix almost anything.

I prefer a sledgehammer to WD-40, but fixed and broken are just different points of view.

Wow. I wish I could write like you do. I especially like the line, " if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all." That's exactly how I'm feeling this morning. And as for your handiman. Good luck! I don't know anybody. :|

200 posts... that's nothing to sneeze at. what the hell kind of expression is that, by the way? who sneezes as a response to unimpressive feats?

Always remember, bad luck is still luck. And it can switch around at the whim of any leprechaun. So go find a rainbow to stand under.

A post about nothing... are you renaming this blog "Seinfeld"?

armor tends to be heavy...so i'm thinking it's taking said knight quite a while to traverse the space betwixt.
and the handyman is waiting on his order of plumber-pants-corrective shirts..so he'll be a minute.

(and just when you think the polished hope has disappeared...things can brighten, things can span that gap of innocence and become amazing.)
