Uncertainty

Inner turmoil is a beast.

Good and evil have been dueling within my conscience for the last few days. Not wanting to disturb, I've watched from the sidelines as they danced back and forth, swords in hand, oblivious to the resounding echo of the blades clashing...

I watched and I watched until one of them fell.

Victory and defeat both greeted by an overwhelming silence. It's over...

I stared down at the envelope in my hands, turning it over and over...running my fingers across the hesitantly scrawled address. With a heavy sigh I bid it farewell and started it on it's journey.

What's done is done. There's no turning back now.

Makes me want to recite the serenity prayer (if I could recall it). Best of luck with whatever it is, xo

It's in the hands of the post office now - let it go and blow a kiss in the wind for good measure.

This is a good thing Miss Linny.

Did I miss something? What is it you sent?

(I have a guess, but still not sure...)

Happy Wednesday, Linny. Hope it turns out for the best.
Your friend,
~ Ash

P.S. You're not mad at me, are you? I was only joking around in those last few comments. You know I love the whole single girl is cooler and sexier than the married girl bit. I was just aiming for equality. Never know when some really cool and sexy married chick looking to offer some unexpected blogger a book deal may come across your page, and I wouldn’t want her to think you’re anti-married-people. See? Just trying to further your career. ;)

Speaking of which: No movie review this week? I was looking forward to it...

Hey Ash...no I'm not mad at all. However, i think there were a couple of people that didn't read the comments I wrote on that post explaining that I was referring to all married couples...simply the employees I was talking about.

I had a review last Friday but I didn't post it b/c it wasn't that great...it was a super hard one to write. However, I reviewed "Inside Man" over the weekend and that review will be printed this Friday. I'll make sure I link it.

It certainly sounds ominous if nothing else. I felt like I should be hearing a loud dramatic "da da daaaaa" after reading that post... or maybe a crack of lightning should flash outside as soon as I was finished.

Wow. Whatever it is, I hope it works out for you. I sometimes get this feeling after I mail something that I want to dive into the mailbox and get it back. Alas, I have to let it go.

Keep us posted.

True. Once the ice cream melts there ain't no re-ice creaming it again.

If the sun is shinning, make hay. If not, make love. Or, just make love in the hay but bring a heavy blanket. Damn hay is awful itchy.

Glad you are relieved. I've dropped stuff in the mail and regretted it moments later.

I'm not sure what it is...maybe I missed something- but good luck!

And about your other post- believe you me, the grass is always greener on the other girl's lawn. I was like you with finding the right man to marry and luckily I did. He'll do the dishes and the laundry. In any relationship, one hand washes the other. Tell those Smug Marrieds to fuck off.

So what's in the letter? I want to know. Very expressive. I guess I'll have to wait and see which of the opposing forces won, good or evil.
