Patience
They say, "Hope is patience with the lamp lit."
Unfortunately, my lamp is sputtering about...grasping for the bits of patience that are flickering away into the night sky, just out of arm's reach.
What can I say? Patience has never been one of my virtues.
Yet these days I find myself continually reaching for it. Clinging to the invisible threads...hoping they will keep their promise.
Hoping that what I see waiting at the road's end is real.

One of the best lines I ever heard about patience was: "I am a very patient man I just don't wait very well."
I have been lurking, not lurking and reading for a while - you are more patient than you realize.
Ummm what's at the roads end??? I have no patience.
Does it count if you have to try with all your might to be patient, or to show patience?
I am not sure if I'm innately patient or patient because I make myself that way.
