Come Away From the Light Carolanne!
I died.
Or so I thought my blog had.
With every stroke of the keys I could feel it gasping for breath. I could see the look of panic in its eyes as it desperately tried to grab hold to keep from going under. I watched it flounder...feeling completely helpless.
"I can't swim," I whimpered apologetically.
I searched wildly for someone to help.
There was no one.
Only me.
With my heart nearly beating out of my chest, I closed my eyes in prayer and dove blindly into the inky blackness.
We might both perish, but I'd never forgive myself if I didn't at least try.

I'm glad you (well, your blog) didn't die! :)
I just saw your comment about the rabbits. They're about to find a new home. I just don't think I'm cut out for rabbits as pets, no matter how cute they are.
For awhile I was seriously considering ending my blog. I've just had ZERO desire to write. I've never felt like that before. I haven't even done a movie review in about a month.
Linny - don't put so much pressure on yourself, girl!!! I love your blog and have felt that way since day one. If you feel like writing, write. If you don't, don't. It's just for fun :)
Nooo...you'll pull through hun. Yours was one of the first blogs I ever read...you cant give up.
Maybe you need a well deserved break. And I guarantee that when you come back from England, you'll want to tell us about it, and if youd have deleted your blog, youd be kicking yourself for it when you get back.
Im glad you stayed.
I agree with PP. You will have a break from your blog while you are in England. When you come back i'm sure you'll want to write about all your adventures.
If you are gonna keep it afloat, do it for you not for us.
Awww no. I ope you don't throw in the towel. Just take that breather and we will all be here when you get back :)
I'm glad that you are still afloat.
awww...so glad its stilla live!!
As they say...try and try till u write;-)
Yay Linny is ressurected!
I know how you feel. I hated writing..so I went to Flash movies to express myself...but now I find myself writing even more (scripts and crap). Ah well. I missed you.
Please don't vanish! I just discovered your blog! :)
u have some great writing up here... something u can develop down the road into something more.
its ok to have writers block - don't make the blog an obligation. make it a pleasure thing. u go to it when u want to.
Guess who else is gonna be in London. :)
I hope you dont give up on your blog! I would miss it terribly!
i think everyone gets like that with their blog...some should but you are one of them that shouldnt...the ball is in your court and its you call the shots. when ur ready do it, when u aint dont. we will all still be here. and like others have mentioned i bet once u get back from way yanders, you will have plenty to blog about.
That was simply beautiful. Please don't go away. ~M
Happy to hear you are sticking with it!
I think many of us have considered stopping...I go long periods without posting. Life has those moments for all of us where the creature from the black lagoon (from previous post of yours) somes and pulls us down and sweeps us away for a bit in that f-ing fast paced current of life. Sometimes just walking away helps the pressure feeling to write. It is always nice to have a place to come back to and vent or celebrate. But like others said...do if you keep to up keep it up for you not for anyone else...
Hang in there! I think a lot of bloggers go through that at some point or another, so you're not the only one (maybe otherwise known as blogger's block?). Or, maybe you need to go on hiatus for a little until you're refreshed. We're your biggest fans...so hang in there darling.
I think the comments here just go to show you would be sorly missed Sweetie, hang onto the lifebelt and get thee to shore. And take time out if need be, but don't forget us, as I too would miss sipping my coffee three feet from my keyboard when I visit.
Hugs Honey.
Everybody goes on a Blog diet once in a while - don't fret. Nice post.
this is so weird. your blog was the first thing i clicked after watching a ghost video in which the lead investigator looked like the impish ghost hunter on the movie Poltergeist. the very first thing I read on your blog is "Come away from the light Carolanne."
strange esoteric world that it is.
