Can We Skip Tomorrow?
Right. So tomorrow is D-day.
I will be 29 and officially on the very cusp of genuine spinsterhood.
So far my birthday
weekend isn't starting off very well. Yesterday I woke up to find a gray hair.*Gasp!*
In a blind moment of panic I ripped it from its root and searched my hair for any further damning evidence...All the while praying that my Granny was wrong when she used to say, "If you pull one, two more will grow in its place."
I don't even want to think about it.
On an interesting note, I was checking my hit counter when I discovered that I am listed on a sight called The Best of the Web Blogs which is very cool. The only thing that perplexes me is that my sweet, innocent little blog has been categorized with blogs dealing with female sexuality. Even on the Web I'm sandwiched in a virtual orgy and still not getting any play. Go figure.

I agree with the Pirates review, but it was a typical 2nd movie of the trilogy (Back to the Future II, Return of the Jedi, Attack of the Clones), it is just a background for the third. I hope that is the case.
AWWW!!! happy Birthday tomorrow!!! I have also found a couple of grey hairs...about 10. But mine have all come from stressing about guys...
I find lots of gray hairs. I rip them out and pray that two browns will grow in their place. Hasn't happended yet, but only the one returns.
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!
I used to rip out my grey hairs while waiting in the parking lot for my first child to get out of kindergarden. Good thing I stopped... I would be a bald woman by now. Last week when I picked up my Grandson from preschool, he asked me "Grandma, why is your hair all grey?" I answered him indignantly... "It's not grey, it is silver." Which it is. Lucky me.
Linny babez it's the 17th of July in Aus ;-) I kept counting days upto that very specila day.

WE ARE NOT SPINSTERS - WE AREN'T EVEN CLOSE! Just because we have chosen to be more selective about who/when we marry than our parents were - especially in times like these (that sounds so terribly corny) when most men are not really men and society has become desensitized to violence, pornography and decent moral values... I prefer to think that I am much much smarter than many of my friends who are on their 2nd or third marriages.
Gray hairs are not as bad as the wolf hairs I have growing out of my eyebrows.

Well happy birthday! Believe me, after 30 I started dying my hair to get the grays out. My partner gives them to me...... ugh----that's a whole nutha' story in itself! (hehe)

Oh lord, I've had gray hair since I was 19. It's disturbing, to say the least. When it comes time to color my hair every 7 weeks, I have to pluck a zillion grays out so that I can actually be seen in public.
Not fun.
