So Not Funny

I have had the fortune or misfortune (however you look at it) to grow up with three brothers. They are all younger than me (though they all tower over me now) but age never stopped them from harrassing the hell out of me.

One night when I was about 17, I awoke around 1:00 AM when my phone started ringing. When I answered, there was no one there, so I attributed it to a wrong number and tried to snuggle back under the covers until I heard a scratching noise outside of my window. Thinking it was my dog clawing at my window again, I cursed at him to go away...but the scratching continued. Completely annoyed, I threw the covers off my bed and stomped over to the window. I was half asleep but because of that, the darkness and my curtains, I didn't realize that my window was now halfway open. When I rested my hand on the ledge, an arm lunged out of the darkness and grabbed my wrist and began pulling me out the window. The only thing I could see was someone in black wearing that mask from "Scream." I was so terrified that I couldn't even scream. My voice was caught in my throat and I tried to fight back but during the struggle I was suddenly caught by a second pair of hands that helped to pull me out the window.

Suddenly I burst into tears. Then, just as quickly as it had begun, it was over. After successfully pulling me halfway through my bedroom window, I was released. Through my sobs I could hear my brothers laughing hysterically as they removed their masks. Evil evil boys.

I don't think my parents even grounded them.

and you didn't get some payback? Are you sure you were a "big" sister? LOL

I loved scaring my sisters ... though I never went quite as far as that. Usually I'd just steal up behind them during a scary movie and yell loud enough to have them clearing the chair or couch ;)

HOLY COW! I would have peed myself. Thank god I only have one brother and not three of them sitting around plotting out the devil's work.

That's actually pretty good.
I used to torment my little sister by going into the attic, above her room and using half of big carpet roll (Like a big paper towel roll) and saying "get out" and other Amityville-Exorcist things. into her ceiling. She would freak out. The caret roll was great because of how deep the sound was and the great reverb you would get

I know its not funny to you but it sure made me laugh. I didnt have little brothers I had 3 older brothers who made it pretty hard for a girl date. They always told me that I could not date til I was 25 and when I did they were gonna take him and kick his ass just bc they could. So, needless to say, I never took anyone home. If I dated it was away from the house. When I would get calls at home, I was sure to answer bc if they got the phone, it was like 50 questions, "who are u, where do u live, what kind of car do u drive, how old are u, what do u want with my sister? Just remember, she has 3 crazy ass older brothers, got me, do u catch my drift?" I was totally mortified. I love them all to death even tho sometimes I wanted to kill them myself ;)

My brother did almost the same thing to me... Only I was about 5 and he was 15... And he grabbed my foot from under the bed and was making monster noises...

To this day I can't sleep with my feet uncovered...

I have no brothers but my Uncle once dumped and entire mason jar of spiders on my Mother in the bath tub. All the spiders crawled on my Mom to avoid drowning. She has been terrified of spiders my whole life.

I would totally get them back if I were you. Just do it when they are not expecting it so that way they have forgotten that the reason you are doing it to them. The worst thing that my brother has ever done to me was feed our dog chili and lock him in my room over night while I was staying over at a freinds house and had to come back to that. But I got him back the same way he got me. Fair game.

I had one older brother, but he was as bad as three, ;-)

that is SO evil! I can relate - had only 3 brothers as well, and 5 male cousins that were as close as brothers. having snakes placed down the back of my tucked-in shirt was always a charming sight for onlookers.

That is one of my worst nightmares, I would have had a heart attack and died.

But since it didn't happen to me, I got a good chuckle out of it.

Sorry about being scared to death. As a brother that is a good one, but as a grown up I had to contain the snicker for the heartfelt emotions that you would have felt.

I was an older brother. I like to think of the torture my brother and I inflicted on our sister as preparing her for much tougher things later in life. It didn't help that we were so clever and amusing that our parents usually ended up laughing at our sister right along with us. They were bad parents. Blame them.

Linny, it's kind of starting to freak me out with how much we have in common. I have 3 younger brothers as well and they did sort of the same thing to me once but I didn't get pulled through a window. They crawled into my room and got under the bed and started howling and making scary sounds. It woke me out of a sound sleep and scared me to death. I got them back though. I put green slime in their beds so when they went to bed it was all slimy and gross.

Evil evil boys! and their dirty dirty pillows! no...wait...that was "Carrie". Well, anyway, you should have gone all "Carrie on her period at the prom" on them...if they are hetero, then put one on every gay mailing list you can find to your parents address, the second--well, whatddaya know...several swingers orgs and beastiality clubs are sending him mailings...and the third...the Incubus---the ring leader...with a little help from photoshop, notify him of his compulsory appearance at jury duty or that he is being sued for negligence pertaining to some vehicular incident. The the real character assasination begins...flyers...carefully targeted, strategically placed, not all at once but a slow slow embarrassing death in public...they won't know when you will strike but they will be watching and will never rest.
