Men have powers. Not the invisibility or flying kind.
Instead they seem to wield another power...one that influences feelings of great happiness, despair and anger.
They can leave you stewing...frusterated and boiling with so much anger that you want to thump them in the eye.
Then just as quickly there are murmured, "I love yous and I miss yous" and suddenly you find the anger slipping away.
Blurring the line between Nemesis and Hero...

We do have that power, just know this.
It is you who grants us this power. Even though, It is just as incontrollable as, say for instance, the ones we choose to love. We realize we are able to do so right away. We can manipulate and use this ability to harm or... we use this as a means to increase our love, you see, It all depends on the man.
It's okay to be "wooed" by a person of the opposite sex, no crime commited... Were all guilty of doing it.

as for men having powers? they only have power over a woman if she lets them have that power. and vice versa with women having powers
Lindsey, you know better. Another person only allows you to have as much power as you give them. But I know what you mean. When it comes to our feeelings we rarely realize that their control belongs to us instead of others. And as Cheryl said, I think you women have powers that are completely evil.
I had no idea that we had that kind of power.
With a little luck our own capacity for happiness is at a very nice level thank you very much and what we have left is that extra space reserved for other people, the part above that though sometimes one might wish it weren't so, this is the part that other people influence. Once in a while we get 'winded' and it takes a little while to get our breath back, so to speak.
I find they get complacent... if you are pulling away or distant they are pulling you close, when they have you then they pull away again ... maybe that is just me?
