I've Decided

Given my brief, but highly fruitful trip across the pond (*wink-wink*), I've decided that I want to immediately adopt some bits of their culture.

For instance...I ADORED having the men call me, Love.

"Can I take your name Love?"

"Would you like another Love?"

"Good to meet you Love."

*Swoon*

Then...there was the whole kiss on the cheek bit. Dear God in heaven...I wasn't expecting that but let me just tell you...there is something SO sexy about a man (preferably a nice looking fellow) taking your hand in his and gently resting his face against yours. The warmth of his skin brushing against your cheek...the feeling of his breath against your ear....

It-was-hot.

Is it getting warm in here or is it just me?

Yeah, this would seem like decent proof that you're getting a bit better. I say go with the dog, a decent one is easier to find. Cheers & Good Luck! 'VJ'

May I add to that sexy lexicon?

"Brilliant!" Instead of cool.
"Knackered" instead of tired. Sounds naughty.

knackered comes from lopping your knackers off...your knackers are a gender specific item that men often fiddle with and rearrange
just so as you know ;)

and love
you know fu is right ;)

Now the cheek thing will just get me slapped. :)

I'm not keen on all the British accents, sometimes they really rub me the wrong way.
Also, cheek kissing as a matter of course is not as good as it's cracked up to be, I'd rather not cheek kiss most people. Toronto is a cheek kissing optional kind of place, so I'll do it if the other person initiates or with people I want to kiss on the cheek, but, otherwise, I don't.

Your oh-so-hot account of the situation just made my head spin, Linny. I love when they call you "love." Adding to that is that there is something in the American southern accents that make "baby," actually sound sweet. I can't describe it, but when the rest of the world says it, it sounds sleazy...what is it about the slow southern drawl that makes it appealing?

Drives me crazy, when anyone I don't know calls me things like that. :-D
So glad you have such positive memories of London though, means you might come back one day - and if you do, Lindsey, now way am I missing out on meeting you this time around.
Good to see you up and about so to speak - hope you're all better.
Have a an absolutely fabulous weekend!!
