Flabbergasted

And men say WE'RE hard to understand.

Like hell.

If they're not leading you on and then completely ignoring you....

Then you get the other extreme where they're coming on so strong you almost feel suffocated.

WHERE ARE THE NORMAL MEN???

Just for you Lindsey, a short run down of some the likely places:

Q: WHERE ARE THE NORMAL MEN???

1.) In the 'Gulf', Iran & SW Asia doing their best fighting a losing imperial war, because this is what they signed up for, and it's the only way they're getting the scratch to go to college. [Yes, there's many other reasons, some less obscure, but let's keep it short, right?]

2.) Working off the mistakes from their first marriages. The debt, the kids, the abuses (mostly just mental, Hopefully!).

3.) Working. Too hard & mostly much too long.

4.) Still married.

5.) Tragically lost to their swell big screen TV's & gaming. They like their entertainment quick, simple to understand and with some immediate payoff's. Unfortunately real life conspires against them on that score.

6.) Yes, Gay.

7.) Running after the younger women. For whatever reasons.

8.) Still in school. Studying hard, waiting for a decent distraction.

9.) Reading blogs late at night, 'cause they have no cable.

10.) Always remember that your last BF may not have been born yet! And for that, we give some thanks.

Have a peaceful Turkey Day Linny & Bet on Tech with the spread. Cheers & Good Luck, 'VJ'

Exactly!! I couldn't agree more with you.

With the exception of yraucta's comments, it's so touching you have adopted a soldier. You go girl!

Linny, men are like parking spots. All the good ones are either taken or disabled! (This is not original, I think I saw it on a bumper sticker somewhere).

If that seems to be the normal male, try looking for the abnormal ones.

Not with me, that's for sure. I seem to pick out the ignore-ers and the leading-on-ers.

Awesome, eh?

Normal is a sliding scale. It sort of depends where you start how normal potential partners seem.

...no such thing my dear, just like there's no such thing as a normal woman!!! ;)

What is your definition of normal? I have never met three people who can agree on what is 'normal', other than average.

Are you saying you want an average guy?

People are quirky, that's what makes them people. Me, I delight in my quirks.

Supermarkets. That's where we take our students to find normal girls, too.

Love in aisle 3. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Men are rather simple and uncomplicated. This is my analysis of your situation:

If we come on so strong that you feel suffocated, we are seeking sex.

If we ignore you, we have found someone else who seems to be an easier prospect for sex.

There is no middle ground.
