The Great Shoe Caper
Something is amiss.
Single shoes are popping up on roadsides everywhere I turn. Here's a shoe, there's a shoe...everywhere I see a shoe.
Tennis shoes, work shoes, slip on shoes...every kind of shoe.
The only thing they have in common is that there is never a pair. It's always one lone shoe.
Perhaps there is a shoe uprising? A coup? And the Right couldn't convince the Left to join in...but then, isn't that always the case? :o)

I remember seeing a tennis shoe looped over an electrical line once. It was weird.
I think they're in cahoots with the contents of my sock drawer...
isn't a coupe a type of car??
do you mean a coup?
keep looking to see if you can make me a pair of shoes, i could do with all the shoes i can get at the moment
That is so strange beacause A) How does one lose a shoe and B) Why did they only lose one shoe??
I use to see shoes (particularly tennis shoes) hanging from some telephone lines, but haven't seen that in a long time.
Lindsey, I love how you can see things in a way that makes you want to share ... you actually seem to have your eyes open to the world. Thanks for sharing your stories, I look forward to reading each instalment.
Maybe there is a one-footed bandit who only needs a show and discards the other?
Shoe politics. Love it :)
lol
i see you changed coupe then :P
love you really
Pxxx
*sniff*
no HNT today
i came over especially as well
I could turn this into a metaphor and get terribly romantic. :-D
Happy Friday and weekend, Linny, xo
Autumn Storm... waiting patiently to hear your lovely romantic metaphor...
Those are travelin shoes.
Be a trendsetter!
Start collecting all those shoes you find, and wear shoes that never match!
I can see it now: Spinster, with a sandal on the right and a tennis shoe on the left. Or a flip-flop on the right and a ballet toe shoe on the left. Or a stiletto on the right and a Keds on the left.
Maybe it's not such a good idea after all...
Kelly, it's a simple one. Soulmates. Separated they may be but out there somewhere there is the other part of the pair. :-D
Hanging shoes are generally a sign that there is a dealer near. Perhaps the shoe on the ground is the same.
