What's That Ringing?

Maybe it's so high pitched only a Spinster can hear it.

*Sigh*

THAT my friends is my biological clock. And do you know why it's ringing? Because in one very short month...yours truly is turning 30.

*GASP*

Yeah, I know.

I've been hearing the ringing in my ears for quite some time but I've had a habit of reaching over and smacking the shit out of the damn thing until I hear it cough...rattle and then fall silent.

I only hope that I haven't done any permanant damage. I would like it to actually work when I meet Mr. Right.

But hopefully it won't take more than a few frantic shakes and muttered curse words to spring back to life.

Not that it looks like I'll need it anytime soon but who knows...I've met some nice boys. One in particular who is coming to visit soon...*wink-wink*

Hey girl! I will be 38 this year and my thirties have been awesome! Whole different set of rules for us girls who are out of our twenties - you will enjoy it, I promise!

Let it tick. Let it ring. Don't let that pesky clock control your life. Don't let that pesky clock make decisions.

30 isn't old (and I am not saying that because 30 is no longer visible in my rear view mirror). 30 is when all the lessons of your 20s come together and your real adult life begins.

Enjoy!

p.s. Still avoiding the locals, huh?

I'm enjoying my 30s so much more than I ever did my 20s and if you notice my url, I was dreading it. Can't think why now. :-D
I know it's a little different there, but here (well, not so much the UK, but other parts of Europe) to have a baby before the age of 30 is considered early. Besides, lifestyle changes etc mean we are much younger than we used to be, 30 is no age in this day and age. Have fun with the boys (plural?!!), that clock will show the right time at some point.

I think I was born without a biological clock. I'll be 30 in just over 2 months and I've yet to see proof of any ticking. Oh, but it is exciting about the nice boy ;)

I'll be 30 in August, but I think our 30's are going to be the best years. At least, that's what I tell myself. Daily.

Don't worry about that ticking sound- you still have lots of time. The tick doesn't fade for a long while yet. You're still a spring chicken.

I wudnt worry so much abt turning 30 cos it means we hv been given 30 great years of LIFE. Im referring to a lil girl who's really ill...it's her 1st bday today and I have a post abt her on my blog. When I hear of such stories I truly feel blessed I was given more years to live.

What the hey = 30, 50, 90... it is all relative. Just keep on living life to the max, and keep hugging those darling little kidlets I see once in a while in your posts. Mr Right is a lagger, this is true, but I have faith in him.
