Knock knock...

Hello? I can see you in there...wait! Don't go!! Hello? :0(

Due to the nifty little counter I have acquired, I am able to see how many people are viewing my page at the same time I am. I've been keeping an (obsessive) eye on it the last few days because I noticed a distressing trend. Lots of people are visiting and reading...but then they leave...and don't even say hello. Perhaps they think my blog sucks...This makes me sad.

I'm a nice girl. I promise. Look at this face...I can't be all bad. So if you drop by, please take time to leave a comment so I'll know you were here. I truly enjoy getting to know my readers...who would have known that my little foray into blogging would have given me so many wonderful friends.

P.S. I'm changing my settings to allow Anonymous comments...as long as I don't get any ugly ones.

Awe - Linny that is so cute! I love how your blog always hits on something so interesting that everyone can relate (LOL, the one about leaving the door open to the bathroom and "sharing" the experience was too funny). I actually saw a funny show of Sex in the City not two nights later with the same subject! Anyway, nice post today :-)

Linny, Linny, Linny! Don't be so insecure. The fact that people leave without leaving a comment says more about them than about you. THEY are inconsiderate bastards. YOU are a lovely, intelligent, funny woman with a lot to say. Sorry if I offended you with my response to your comment on my blog. I was just teasing.

Ooo - so you're watching me watching you watching me? Now you'll know that I sneak in, peek around and zip out. Yikes. I'm so busted.

I adore your picture Linny. You and I are going to have a good laugh about it tomorrow.

Yeah, I feel sad when I don't get enough comments!
And I don't mind criticism, so long as it's just that, and not a cheap shot.

Don't distress Linny! We are your faithful followers! We love your blog, and we love you! Like Phil said, if others don't see how great you are, that's their bad.

Hello. Show more skin and you'll get more comments. Come see me sometime. Been getting lonely waiting with my chocolate ice cream and no one to share with.

Hello there, I was told by my little sis (a.k.a. berly) that I should read your blogs. So..here I am.

Ah! New people!!! Thank you for saying hello. Glad to have you.

Phil: Not offended in the least my dear. I am a self proclaimed sci-fi/Fantasy geek. Only problem there is that a lot of men w/ my same interests have a tendency to be on the fruity side.

Trée: Will schedule trip shortly...will bring the whip cream.

Anonymous (cate): Are you 100% sure they can look at the sky? It doesn't seem physically possible...but if anyone would know, you would. So I'll trust you. Thanks for leavign a comment this time. :0)

Sometimes those people could be leaving because they already commented and they were just checking to see what others wrote or if you had posted again. Some of us keep an (obsessive) eye on our favorite blogs so we don't miss anything. :)

I always thought you have dark hair, from your photos.

Red hair? lol. No. I've got VERY dark hair. It was just a little lighter when I was little. Plus the backdrop of the picture is red so I think that makes the color seem a bit different.

Berly: Thank you...makes me feel better.

How can u tell, I still havent figured out how to put one of them things that count the visitors. I am not so good with the technical things of my blog. I am guilty of reading sometimes and not posting. Sometimes I only have a moment to read, but promise to at least drop a line to say hello ;)

cute pic!!

Linny...you're blog is AWESOME. Dont be sad....you probably dont WANT all those people to comment anyway.

I know for sure, that almost 1800 people have red my blog, and I certainly dont have 1800 comments. We've established quite the network of regualrs I think....

I think I'm one of those strange people who likes leaving comments more than actually receiving them...

...Or is that one of the many lies I choose to tell myself in the middle of a cold and lonely night?

Yes, and yes.

Don't worry about comments and such. At least you know people are reading.

But yes...Comments are wonderful.

At my old place, I had two or three regulars...And that was it.

Sometimes even they wouldn't comment, and then I'd just get sad.

One time, I got ten whole comments!!

It was THE best day EVER.

(Off to cry now...And oh yeah, write my novel)

Pre-P.S. That's why I've been reading and not writing. Some nights, I'll have time to make the rounds, or at least check in with a few of my favs, but I do put a lot of thought into these little meandering comments o' mine, so some nights:

Me read, no comment.

Just the way God intended.

(Sorry for the mess)

Linny –
You are right, I read your page on a pretty regular basis, but do not comment. This is mostly because I do not want to be creepy. I found your page by following a link on Chuckles page. I wanted to see if I knew you. (I of course do not.) However, I did enjoy your writing style, so I return whenever I get a chance to use the internet. I hope you only take this as a complement, but reading your blog is similar to watching a sitcom for me. I can relate, it is a good distraction from my life and I cheer for the main character.
If you are interested, I have a livejournal. I am not what you would call a “good” writer.

Leah...I would never say you were creepy (unless you started collecting strands of my hair...I had someone do that once. Yuck.) Thanks for taking the time to say hello and thanks for your compliment. It truly means a great deal. I will be sure to visit your sight as well!

Most people are voyeurs in life, getting them to write a comment on the blog could go along way. Most people don't. There I did.
